We will need everyone's help for Fur Ball 2017! Our theme this year is, Mardi Paws! The Fur Ball is a black-tie optional event that is pet-friendly! Need more info about the event? Just copy and paste this link: http://www.bidpal.net/furball2017
We will need roughly 100 volunteers to make this event a success; last year the event raised nearly $200,000 for our animals!
Dress code will be business professional for volunteers. We do encourage you to have dinner prior to the event, however we will have light refreshments available for volunteers. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your shift begins.
Please select your top 3 choices for volunteer assignments during the event. Please note, that we will do our best to accommodate your choice, but we may need to assign you to a different area dependent on need. We appreciate your help and flexibility!

How did you hear about volunteering for the Fur Ball?
I understand that participation as a volunteer at the Peninsula SPCA Fur Ball event (the “Volunteer Program”) involves holding, petting, walking and other close contact with dogs, cats and other animals kept as pets. Accordingly, risks associated with the Volunteer Program include, but are not limited to, allergic reactions, disease transmission, scratches or bites from animals, or more serious injuries. Knowing, understanding and fully appreciating all possible risks, I hereby expressly, voluntarily and willing assume all risks associated with my participation in the Volunteer Program.
I hereby waive all claims or causes of action against the Peninsula SPCA and its employees, officers, directors and agents, arising out of my participation in the Volunteer Program and hereby release, hold harmless and discharge the Peninsula SPCA and its employees, officers, directors and agents from all liability in connection therewith.
I have read the foregoing paragraphs and I understand the terms used and their legal significance. This waiver is freely and voluntarily given with the understanding that the right to legal recourse against the Peninsula SPCA is knowingly given up in return for my ability to participate in the Volunteer Program.
